From the reports that I have gotten from some of the members, the dinner at Prairie Lake Lodge, was a very nice event. The food was good and no complaints as of yet. The crew from 3-D sound also came and enjoyed friendship with our members.
For the new year we are getting together some trips, one suggestion was a trip to Volo Museum and possibly the World of Wheels show in Chicago. If anyone has any other ideas come on down to the meeting and put in a suggestion.
Our new vice president Steve Swartz will take his position on our first meeting in January. Mike Dougherty is retiring to sit in the back row and make funny faces if he gets there on time.
Gary H. Treasurer made his report, bills have been paid and moneys have been deposited, we’re still in the black.
Dec 7th - 50/50 was won by Steven Swartz-$19 present. There is no second drawing because of only one meeting this month.
Lately a number of members have been coming to our meetings, which is good, so break away from that TV and come on down and enjoy fellowship with our members. Never can tell, you might leave with a handful of dollar bills just like Steve did last meeting. We have a drawing every meeting, you could be next.
If you have any information for our club or information of anyone ill or in poor health whereas we could drop them a card please call us and let us know. We can't reach out to our members unless we know, so if anyone has any information please inform us.
