The Club has had its eleventh Cruise Night with partial success, due to a down-pour around 5:30/5:45. A few cars over 90 was reported to me. The first rain in eleven years but not a complete “washout”. Now we start work on the car show at Lincoln Douglas Park on Norris Drive near the city swimming pool.
There is a request to bring some old cars to Heritage Woods retirement home July 17th. The older folks like to see our cars. You never know but Beans, Bob P and Dave W. might be looking out the windows and waving at us, ( Take me for a ride boys). I also passed this info to the Model ‘A’ Club.
Dave W. Treasurer made his report, all bills have been paid and moneys have been deposited. We’re still in the black.
Winter and summer hats are available for $6.25. Call Dave W. 433 3272, or Don R. 433 3014
The 50/50 on June 3rd was won by Bob Papineau - $27 – present and on June 17th Gary Rohr won - $13 – not present (roll-over).
